Denison senior Jessica Eller heads 10 local softball players who were named academic all-state selections by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.

Bonham’s Rikki Reedy and Kristen Fox were chosen for the 3A team while Howe’s Jordan England and Kayla Hastings of Tom Bean joined S&S’ Rami Burleson and Nikki Jones on the Class 2A squad.

In 1A, Dodd City had three players chosen — Sydnee Horton, Cassidi Rogers and Hailey Spindle.

S&S head coach Darsey Hahn was picked to lead Class 1A-2A-3A East All-Stars, which includes her senior pitcher, Angela White.
