SAVOY — Shane Williams went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and scored two runs, while Addison Williams pitched a complete-game shutout in Blue Ridge’s 11-0 win in six innings in District 10-A baseball action on Wednesday.
Addison Williams (3-0) allowed only one hit with one walk and 11 strikeouts while facing the minimum 18 batters. He also went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Hayden Griffin was also 2-for-3 while Trevor Lintzen added a double for the Class 1A fifth-ranked Tigers (13-1, 5-0), who host Bland on Friday in a battle of district unbeatens.

Tom Bean 16, Leonard 6, (5)
TOM BEAN — Jammer Peace struck out 10 batters as Tom Bean run-ruled Leonard in five innings late Tuesday night.
Colten Miller went 2-for-2 with two walks to lead Tom Bean offensively and Hunter Hendry went 2-for-4 with four RBIs to contribute to a 13-hit performance by the Tomcats.
Peace also held the Tigers to three hits while allowing five walks.
Jared Diviney stuck out five in a losing effort for the Tigers.

Pottsboro 10, Pilot Point 4
POTTSBORO — Ashley Thomas pitched a complete game and helped her own cause with a two-run home run to lift Pottsboro to a district win.
Harley Harp hit her second homer of the season, a three-run shot, for the Lady Cardinals (13-7, 2-4). Melanie Makuch had three hits, Sheree Evans two hits with an RBI and Megan Whitfield doubled for Pottsboro, who plays at noon Saturday against Callisburg.
“We’ve been playing well defensively,” Pottsboro first-year coach Ryan Tate said. “We finally started hitting the ball tonight.”
Thomas (11-6) walked one and struck out six.
District 10-A
Sam Rayburn 5, Dodd City 2
DODD CITY -- Maddison Foreman swiped four bases, scored twice and had two hits as Sam Rayburn defeated Dodd City in a District 10-A make-up game from last Friday.
Sydney Davis also scored twice and Chelsea Kavanaugh tripled for Sam Rayburn (13-8, 3-0), which travels Friday to Blue Ridge (10-6, 3-0) for a clash between 10-A's last remaining undefeated teams. Hailey Spindle had two hits and scored a run for Dodd City (6-11, 1-2).
Julie Nguyen got the win for Sam Rayburn, striking out seven. Meanwhile, Dodd City's Sarah Smeltzer struck out nine, as each pitcher allowed only five hits.
Carly Sadler and Davis each singled for Sam Rayburn, which led 3-0 after one.
Dodd City prevented an inside-the-park home run in the fifth, as catcher Katie Pickering tagged out a sliding Kavanaugh at the plate. Kavanaugh was waved home after hitting a towering drive over the center fielder's head and racing around the bases.
Sydnee Horton, Pickering and Smeltzer had Dodd City's other three hits.
